State Policies, Procedures, and Monitoring

Since the fall of 2018, all school districts in South Carolina offer applicable students with disabilities, whose Individualized Education Program (IEP) team determines this program appropriate, the opportunity to earn the South Carolina High School Employability Credential. This took effect with students entering ninth grade beginning with the 2018-2019 school year.
